Bronze Medal Award

This project aims to develop technology utilizing the OpenCV library in conjunction with the application of definite integration techniques to revolve around the X-axis of an ellipsoidal equation for efficiently estimating the weight of watermelons. The approach is designed to enhance convenience and achieve a level of accuracy comparable to conventional methods involving direct use of weighing scales. This project was awarded the Bronze Medal at the international innovation competition Innovation Inventors Day (IYIA), presented in English as an oral presentation. The event took place from August 28–31, 2024, under the project title Establishing the Relationship of Ellipsoidal Geometric Shapes to Measure the Weight of a Watermelon in the field of Agricultural Innovation and Technology.
